KINGFISHER CIRCLE

Down the street on Kingfisher, the Guaraldis have just moved in.  And we hate them.  Not because of their ethnicity or their political standings or their sexual deviations, but because they are now Kingfishers to us.  Everyone on that street, from the Reeds to the Bludsoes, is lower than dirt.

We live on Darby, the street of the people, the land of even words and lower blood pressures.  I don’t know if I feel sorry for the people in the other neighborhoods or I’m simply angry with them for reasons that were passed down from the last people who lived here.  A little of column A, a little of column B, I suppose.

Tomorrow we shave the heads of our young, dress out elderly in black and set fire to Kingfisher Circle.
