When he thought about her, there was a pain in his sides. He thought of all the things that they had done, and all of the times he could have kissed her but didn’t.
She hadn’t returned a call, an email, or visited him in over a month. He assumed that he’d missed his chance and erased her from his phone.
This was death in the digital age.
