MASON

Brick and mortar filled the skies. People shrieked in horror as the air began to thin. Full-scale riots plagued the world as the human race tried to grasp onto anything that was real. The sky had started its construction at 7:07 AM CST over the continental United States. By 7:07 PM the skies over China had been covered. The last patch of sky not covered over hung above Australia. This final brick stayed unfilled for most of my lifetime. Yesterday, God felt like his masonry needed to be completed, I guess. We predict that all air will be gone by tomorrow. I the meantime, we’ll debate over whether we’ve lived all these years without a God or that he indeed does exist and he simply couldn’t stand looking at us anymore.
