I told them not to go into the basement, but they did anyway. now they're dead. if they'd listened to me then the grotesque son of the former town mayor wouldn't have hit them on the head and leaten their faces, but they ignored me. now they're dead. i don't know what, if anything, they were trying to prove. it was just too much to ask to listen to me this one time, and do what i asked. it wasn't for my benefit! i was trying to help them out! still...now? dead.
