Shaved Orientals part one(312)

They started as a local cover band, doing songs by Morrissey and Public enemy. They managed to build a small following and soon even had a pretty decent fan base. Eventually they began to write their own songs. Joe, the leader of the band, wrote songs about heart break, partying and the devil- the mainstays of blues based rock, and before long they had a record deal with Shonuffunky records.
On the first concert of the first ever Shaved Orientals tour, the band met with a deranged fan that had managed to win a date with them through a contest in the local alternative news paper. She was odd, and after the band made an attempt to end the date, she put a curse on them.
At the next show they played they were attacked by monsters onstage. They narrowly managed to escape, by the audience assumed it was all part of the show and went wild.
From that point on, under the tutelage of their mentor, spiritual advisor, and blues sensei Bleeding Blind Edwards, the band became proficient in identifying and protecting themselves from all manner of creep and fiend, while continuing to rise up the charts and keep the fans thinking it was all an act.
While performing at a show in Florida, they noticed that for the first time a monster was attacking a member of the audience! They saved the young man, but he had amnesia. All that he knew was that his name was Trent and that he had to fulfill his destiny… whatever it was.
The band made him a D.J. which worked out well.
Soon, they discovered that there would be an alignment of planets that would allow them to break the curse of the Shaved Orientals. Sadly, it was on the same night of the Grammy’s. If they missed their chance to end this curse, it would keep them alive for 15 hundred years until the next alignment- but they could never blow off the Grammy’s!
Then again, who needs a Grammy when you have rock and Monsters?
